Therapeutic Recreationist

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Hamilton Branch is seeking a summer student for the position of Therapeutic Recreationist for their Evening Social Recreation Rehabilitation Program.

The successful candidate must possess communication skills and be outgoing.  He or she will be responsible for the planning and implementation of social/recreation rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications include: a returning university or college student in a related discipline.  French speaking an asset.  Experience working with persons with psychiatric illness and other special needs populations would be a definite asset.

Hours:   Monday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

             Tuesday to Friday: 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm
